Hi! I have to implement a public key infrastructure which must have one offline root CA connected to an hardware server module , one online CA which has to issue certificates for my users from active directory. I'm using win server 2003 for active directory and for the rest i'm using win server 2008 with ocsp. I have some ideas of how to create this pki but there's a lot of things to order and i would apreciate some kind of step -by - step guide for this or maybe some advice for best practice. this results, when i want to modify my system settings, through registry directory, i cant open it . As soon as i enter REGEDIT from the RUN command, or click the Registry icon in system 32, a dialog box appears, REGISTRY EDITING HAS BEEN DISABLED BY THE ADMINISTRATOR... i have checked it many times, and have restarted my computer many times, but the same message has been displayed ! pls guide me... how to enter into registry directory ...

I have been investigating a popular home based business opportunity, which is operating a local business directory and portal for my city. I would make money by selling featured listings and banner ads, as well as with built-in affiliate programs and the best part is that it doesn't require any programming knowledge (since I don't have any!). Anyhow, the one with the best appearance and features seems to the www.yourcityguide.net. They pre-load the website with all my local businesses and have many other great features. I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with them or operates a city guide themselves. Do you think I have a good chance of success considering the minimal investment?

I?ve been asked to write an interactive trouble shooting guide for some software. For example if the credit card feed is not loading check to see if the file in directory N:\XXX exists, if it doesn?t exist then check the database, if it does exist then check to see if it has the write extension, if it does check to see if the server that loads the file is working, etc. Etc. Etc. What I?d like to do is put this into a piece of software so that we can ?move checks around? at a later date. For example if the most common problem is that the server has gone down we can check that first rather than checking to see if the directory/ file exists. If I wrote it using HTML or a Windows Help File doing this level of moving around (and link checking) would be a hassel. Is there some software out there that can manage this for me?

I've searched around but haven't really found a guide that doesn't assume that you're already a beast at windows 2003 server. I need to know how to create several user accounts on an ftp server, which each individual user account has its own directory for them to place files into. How does one go about doing this? Also, I am unable to externally connect to the server, where do I go to open the appropriate ports?

Hi. I recently found a way to change the directory location of the Program Files folder (and also the Common Files folder) to a different place on the disk (or a different disk altogether), but from all of the articles I have found on the web that explain how to do this, they all seem to be saying how to change the directory BEFORE having installed any apps. I have around 2GB of applications, and I want to change the directory to a different disk. Will this change of location have a bad impact on my apps that I have already installed? (Obviously I am going to move these applications across to the new location). My plan was to change the registry, restart my PC, then just drag and drop the apps into the new location on my D: drive. I need to do this because my C: drive doesn't have enough space left to defrag the paging file. Will this method work? Thanks to everyone who offers an opinion in an advance. Hi evyone..can someone guide me how to download apache tomcat. I have dwnloaded it but need to configure. in RUNNING>TEXT file it says to down binary distribution and JRE% or higher. Which i done... But i dont know wht to do next. It tells i need to (1.3) Set an environment variable named JRE_HOME to the pathname of the directory into which you installed the JRE, e.g. c:\jre5.0 or /usr/local/java/jre5.0. I dont know wht tht is...can someone help.

I bought my M3 real ds and it came this morning, put on system files and all was working, but i can't work out how to put games on in the NDS directory. I have made this directory, searched for it. But no matter what the games always end up in the "My Card". Section. Please help i can't find any guides or anything. i looked up how to install open moko on my palm, and this is what i got, it is way to UN-user friendly Here is a quick guide: Get the TX-Kernel from here and unpack all to the SD-card. Download the rootfs, copy to the /linux folder on your card and rename to rootfs.ext2 or build your on rootfs with the MokoMakefile (you have to edit the /build/conf/local.conf and set MACHINE="palmtx", IMAGE_FSTYPES = "ext2", IMAGE_ROOTFS_SIZE_ext2=102400) Edit /etc/Xserver to adjust the DPI settings and add: "Palm TX") ARGS="$ARGS -dpi 150 -screen 320x480 -hide-cursor -root-ppm /usr/share/pixmaps/xsplash.ppm" ;; Generate a swap file: dd if=/dev/zero of=swap.fs bs=1024 count=65536 and copy it to the /linux directory on your card. Tap Cocoboot and see OpenMoko booting! ok now if anyone can maybe find a video tutorial or a better website to help me out that would be fantastic thanks in advance :D

well, my friend is letting me borrow her disk's for the guest pass (and I would do it the online way but it says you need a credit card # for the verification purposes and my mom wont let me do it!) but i went through the whole installation process and and at the very end it said i had and error or something with my files! so im starting it over again, well im at the (Installation Destination Directory) and its a list of all the places to put the WoW stuff like it has My Comp (just by its self) then.. 3 1/2 floppy (now these have the little arrow suggestion theres more) local Disk WoWDisc1 DVDdrive My sharing folders shared documents my documents which one should i put it in? also i was reading the installation guide it says that i need 10GB of free hard Disc space and sort of at the top of the (Installation Destication) box when i click on (for ex: My comp) it says space available 92.8, isnt that enough space??! lol so any information would be greatly appreciated! thanks! thank so much! =] haha i would have put the error problem but i saw was Cant be installed and i was to PO'd to read the whole thing! =[ haha and it was 92.8 GB

So my company left me in charge of updating their website...something I have no clue about. I use smartftp and have made the necessary changes to the site, but can't seem to publish it properly. I was told to update to the root directory. What is that? Is that the main drive? I had apparently been uploading everything to a subfolder, which is a "no no." The tech people couldn't guide me through this. I know that if someone shows/explains it to me once, I'll get the hang of it. Can someone help please? Thanks so much!

I found, in the emachines guide, that it has a section on reinstalling the operating system. It says you should reboot (or start) ur PC, while holding down F8. That brings up The Advanced Boot Options. So far, I've done & so far, this is where I've gotten. BUT, the manual says it should give an option of "Repair your computer". But it doesn't. It's only showing 3 safe mode options, 2 enable functions, 2 disable functions, debugging, directory restore mode & last known good configuration. It does NOT show me the repair your computer mode. If I can find where it says that, it says I can choose full factory recovery & that the PC will load ALL FACTORY settings, from a hidden memory within the hard drive. Why does it not give me this option when I hold down F8 & go to the Advanced Boot Options & is there a way I can get to that?

umm im lost here im almost there im at the 1.1.2 jailbreaking part im using this guide.. http://www.touchdev.net/wiki/Jailbreak_1.1.2 on number 4 on step 5 it says 4. Copy iTunesMobileDevice.dll from C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\bin\ to the directory where the jailbreak files were extracted. okay.. i go to where i extracted jailbreak 1.1.2 and i already see iTunesMobileDevice.dll, theres also one in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\bin\ do i copy the one from there and replace it in my jailbreak folder?

Dear All My problem is that whenever I use to copy a heavy file like Film,etc. from one PC to another it utilize only @5-10 mbps & doesnot utilize full 100Mbps and takes very much time just in copying, though if I am just copying it from one directory of same computer to another director it does it with very fast speed. I request you all to guide me in this regards so that I can make maximum utilization of my network. Can we use softwares like DAP to increase downloading speed of a file on LAN Regards Parag P.S. 1. Created a ifcfg-br0 file in my /etc/sysconfig/network directory. 2. Entered settings for ifcfg-br0 according to what was found in the VirtualBox User Guide. 3. Added my eth0 connection to the bridge. 4. Using ifdown and ifup, disabled my eth0 connection and enabled br0. After these steps I am able to connect to the internet on my Linux Host without any trouble. Assuming this puts me on the right track, I proceed with: # VBoxAddIF vbox0 dcasper br0 This should (and does) create a vbox0 TAP connection.

HI, I am novice at this but I really want to build my website and do as much on my own as possible. I have a domain, I have a hosting company, I have downloaded CoreFTP Client which is a free trial. The problem I am having is when I sign in to CoreFTP everything seems fine, it's showing me that 226 transfers completed, but I don't know where the transfers are going.. as it is not in my cpanel with my hosting company.. My hosting company keeps telling me that I have not uploaded my files so my website will not show up. My website is blank, at least it comes up in the browser blank. But when I use my scripts within my hosting company and i install a script, it shows up on my website in the directory that I assigned it too. I hope i make sense in what I am trying to say. so please someone help me with my FTP download/upload, and if you don't know about the ftp client i am using, can u suggest one that you're knowledge about and guide me step by step.. thanks for the help I have been trying with the hosting company and also with the compaqny that I bought my php script from and i can't seem to get an answer that is working for me. I do have the ftp user name and password.. please read my question and help with an answer if you can.

I'm referring to for instance when you call a customer service line and you get an automated menu screen that guides you and will help you troubleshoot your problem. But, you never actually talk to the real person. I mean like it says "Hello, welcome to _____ Please press 1 for directions 2 for the menu 3 for our special 4 for a directory of our other locations," etc. and then each one will take you to another recording of some information. What's the name of this technology or a product that contains this technology because I'm stumped and I have no idea what to search. Thanks a lot! Hope you guys understand!

This is a discontinued software technology by Westbrook Technologies and they can't help with an indexing error "no archive directory with sufficient free space for this document was found." It sounds like a permissions error, but I don't see any differences between the permissions between a workstation that works and the one giving this error.

When invited to join a Yahoo! group late in 2005, I couldn't do so till I'd created an ID. Once I had, part way through joining the group I had to go back to the ID to change the way e-mail moved; then back to groups. Joining the group was a nightmare lasting weeks. I've just created a new group, to which about 80 people will receive an invitation. In trying to write a set of simple instructions so that they can post to the group without giving away their usual e-mail address, I'm struck by the apparent need to inflict on them the same horrendous complexities, bouncing back and forth between trying to join the group and trying to control access to their e-mail address. To make it worse, though I've changed the group so that it should appear in the Yahoo! Groups directory (whatever that is), searching for it turns up nothing; so there seems to be no way for anybody else to join it. Is there a set of instructions on how to set up an ID and join a group without heartache? Thanks!

My previous question got only one response ...."it can't be done".... but the directory does exist broken down by Country, city etc. There is a classification called city guide then it is broken down by business category etc. But I cannot find out anywhere as to how to register.....
